Good morning, everyone. Welcome back to Courageous Alignment. I'm your host, Cher, and today we're going to be talking about standing in your truth. There's a moment, and your body always knows first. That micro tightening in your chest, that subtle hesitation, that tiny internal flinch you pretend not to notice. And right now, with the sun entering Taurus, that flinch is louder. Because Taurus energy pulls you out of performance mode and drops you straight into your body, into what's real, what's true, what's yours. This week the cosmos is saying, slow down enough to hear the truth you've been overriding. Because every time you override it, every time you say yes to when your soul says no, every time you contort yourself to keep the peace, you shrink. Not all at once, but in subtleties, almost invisible ways that accumulate until you wake up living inside a version of yourself that's two sizes too small. Today's episode is about the moment you stop doing that. Because this week's astrology is a cosmic megaphone. Stand in your truth, and your whole life will grow to meet you. And if something in you already knows you're doing this alone, if you're ready for real support, real space, real transformation, I have services and upcoming retreats listed on my website. You can check it after the episode. For now, stay with me. Let's drop in. Let's define it. Because compromising your truth doesn't always look like lying. It looks like abandoning your own inner data in real time. It's when your body says no and your mouth says yes. When your intuition speaks in a full sentence and you answer it with a dismal. Here are the signs, the Taurus receipts that you are overriding yourself. Your throat tightens right before you say the thing you don't really mean. You start over explaining because a simple no feels illegal, right? Have you ever had this happen? You feel immediate fatigue after agreeing, like your energy leaves the room. You get a surge of resentment that doesn't match the situation until you remember what you didn't say. You hear yourself minimizing, it's not a big deal, I'm fine, whatever. You become hyper-aware of their reaction and completely unaware of your own. You rehearse your truth in your head and then edit it down to silence. You feel that stomach drop the moment you cross your own boundary. That isn't being nice. This is self-assurance dressed up as maturity. The cosmos is done letting you call it normal. Let's get honest. Self-betrayal is quiet, subtle, and it's socially acceptable. It's the sure I can do that when you're depleted. It's the it's fine when you're absolutely not fine. It's the maybe I'm overreacting when the intuition is dead on. With Mercury and Pluto in a truth-exposing dance, the lies you tell yourself are suddenly heavier. Your excuses don't land the same, and your realizations feel thin. Pluto strips illusions. Mercury delivers clarity. This is a moment where you cannot pretend you don't know what you know. Here's what that looks like in real life. For an example, you're on the phone with somebody you love and they make another joke that always lands like a jab. Your body tightens, you feel the truth, I don't like this, I don't feel safe. And you still laugh. You say, it's fine because you don't want to seem sensitive, or you don't want to take the risk of losing that connection, losing that love. That's the micro moment, the split second where you trade your truth for belonging. Every time we override our truth, we reinforce a smaller identity. The identity that believes I don't get to want what I want. My needs are inconvenient, my desires are too much, my truth will cost me love. And it usually funnels into one of four shrinking patterns. The first pattern, the peacekeeper. You keep the harmony by deleting yourself. You swallow the truth so no one has to feel uncomfortable. And then you wonder why you feel invisible. Number two, the achiever. You earn love through output. You say yes because being needed feels like being safe. You confuse pressure with purpose and call exhaustion just how life is. Three, the shapeshifter. You become what's wanted so you stay chosen. You can feel what everyone needs before they say it, but you've lost track of what you need because you stopped asking.

SPEAKER_01

And number four, the withholder.

SPEAKER_00

You stay silent and call it being mature, but really you're avoiding the risk of being seen. You don't speak your truth and then you punish people for not reading your mind. Different personalities, same strategy, abandonment of self to keep attachment. But here's the twist: your life can only expand to the size of the identity you're willing to inhabit. There is always a moment, a pivot point, where you feel the split inside yourself. The version of you that wants to stay safe, and the version of you that wants to be free. This week, that split is amplified by the Mars-Saturn conjunction in Aries, which is a pressure cooker of truth, accountability, and action. And listen, it's not that you don't know your truth. It's that you know the cost your nervous system thinks it will pay if you tell it. Not the logical cost, the primal one. If I'm honest, I'll be disliked. If I'm honest, I'll create conflict. If I'm honest, I'll lose the connection. Or if I'm honest, they'll say I'm too much. If I'm honest, I'll be alone. That's the fear under the fear, not losing people, losing safety. But that cost is often an old invoice, a survival story, a pattern your body memorized in a different era. And Mars Saturn doesn't care about the era, it cares about integrity now. Mars wants movement, Saturn demands integrity, and Aries wants authenticity. And together they create an ultimatum. No more shrinking, no more self-abandonment, no more negotiating with your knowing. Here's how that ultimatum shows up in the real world. In the smallest moments where you choose integrity over autopilot. And it won't look dramatic. It'll look like an email, a Slack message, a casual sure. Here's an example. Your boss says, Can you take this on to? And you're already maxed out. You can feel the no in your body before your brain even finishes the sentence. But your mouth reaches for the old script. Sure, no problem. Because being easy feels safer than being honest. And that's where Mars Saturn shows up, like a lock clicking into place. Integrity. So you choose the grown-up truth. I can take it on, but something else has to move. What's the priority? This is the moment in your life where the universe isn't testing you, it's mirroring you. When you compromise your truth, you're saying, I'm available for less. When you stand in your truth, you're saying, I'm ready for more. And life responds accordingly. So let's make this usable because your truth doesn't need a manifesto. It needs a sentence you can actually say when your heart is racing. Here's some boundary scripts. That doesn't work for me. I'm not available for that. I'm a no on this. I'm going to honor what my body is telling me. If you're in the workplace, I can take this on, but something else will need to be moved. What's the priority? I have capacity for one more thing, which one matters most? I can do it by Friday or I can do it by tomorrow with reduced scope. Your call. I want to give this my best. I need a clearer deadline. And here's some relationship scripts. When you say that I shut down, I need a different tone. I'm not okay with that being a joke. I want to be close to you, and I also need to be honest. This matters to me. Please don't minimize it. And then there's time scripts that sound like this. Let me get back to you. I'm going to think about that and respond tomorrow. I need a minute. I want to answer this from truth, not pressure. Truth doesn't require a TED talk. Truth requires a period. Let's go deeper. The new moon in Aries just passed and planted a seed. Who are you when you stop abandoning yourself? This week, that seed sprouts. And as Venus enters Gemini around April twenty fifth, the energy shifts from internal confrontation to external expansion. This is where your life begins to rearrange itself around your truth. New conversations, new connections, new invitations, new possibilities, and relational dynamics. This is where the expansion becomes visible. Not in theory, but in what you finally say out loud. Like this, you get the invite. The group chat lights up, everyone's excited, and you can feel it. Your system is tired. Your body wants quiet, but the old version of you starts negotiating. I should go. Let's plan something soon. And watch what happens next. The relationships built on performance get wobbly. And the relationships built on truth get stronger. And Venus in Gemini will test this. Gently at first, then loudly.

SPEAKER_01

Ask yourself, do I feel safer being liked or being known? Where do I edit myself mid-sentence? Who gets the performance version of me?

SPEAKER_00

Who gets the honest version of me? What conversations am I postponing because I don't want to be the problem? Venus and Gemini don't just bring new connections. It upgrades your conversations and exposes the ones that can't hold you. Venus and Gemini brings the frequency of when you stop shrinking, your relationship shifts to match your expression. This is the moment where your identity stretches and your capacity stretches with it. Your capacity to receive, your capacity to be seen, your capacity to hold more love, more abundance, more alignment. Here's the part that blows people's minds. You don't lose anything when you stand in your truth. You only lose what was never aligned with you in the first place. You don't lose relationships, you lose roles. You don't lose opportunities, you lose obligations. You don't lose stability, you lose stagnation.

SPEAKER_01

You don't lose the people, you lose patterns. Truth doesn't take anything from you.

SPEAKER_00

Truth reveals what was already too small. And the moment you stop shrinking to fit your life, life grows to fit you. Before we go into an activation, I want you to feel this, not understand it.

SPEAKER_01

So take one deep slow inhale, filling up your belly, and slowly exhale, dropping your shoulders, and put one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly. And ask with zero drama, zero performance, what's true right now that I keep minimizing? Don't answer from your head. Wait for your body. The first honest thing is usually the real thing.

SPEAKER_00

So here's the activation for this week, aligned with the exact astrology. The sun and Taurus.

SPEAKER_01

Mercury, Pluto.

SPEAKER_00

What truth have you been avoiding because it would require change? Mars, Saturn in Aries. Where are you being asked to stop making excuses and take aligned action? And Venus and Gemini. What conversations, connections, or invitations are ready to expand because you expanded? And the real question: What would your life look like if you stopped compromising your truth for just one week? One week of radical honesty. One week of choosing what feels aligned. One week of saying no when your body says no. One week of saying yes when your soul says yes.

SPEAKER_01

One week of refusing to shrink.

SPEAKER_00

Your entire reality would shift. Because the moment you stand in your truth, your whole life grows to meet you. You don't need to become someone else. You don't need to fix yourself. You do not need to earn your worth. You just need to stop abandoning the truth you already know. Your truth is not a liability, it's your liberation. And the cosmos is backing you this week. Loudly.
